Senior ROTC

2022 MOAA Leadership Award

Presentation of the 2022 Leadership Award

Cameron University has the only Senior ROTC program in our chapter area. Our chapter annually awards a MOAA medal and certificate to an outstanding third year student. Our 2022 recipient is Cadet John Young (picture on right side).

We also present senior cadets with a set of Second Lieutenants bars prior to their commissioning ceremony. We inform these new lieutenants about their eligibility to receive a no-fee, BASIC memberships in national MOAA to start them out with an early appreciation for MOAA membership.
