Gift Presentation to the Cameron University ROTC

Presentation of the Chosin Fires print to the Cameron University ROTC on 20 October

For those who were unable to make our September GMM, LTC Brian Hayes (new CU ROTC PMS) was our guest speaker.  One of his personal goals he described was to enhance the appearance of their part of Burch Hall.  That comment led Steve Arntz to suggest he would contact the United States Field Artillery Association about the possibility of donating a copy of their Chosin Fires print and could the Chapter have it framed.  Many of you have seen a copy of this print that hangs in our Military Welcome Center.

The photo shows the presentation by Dennis Clippinger to the CU ROTC faculty and a number of their currently enrolled cadets on 20 October.  This was another great partnership opportunity with a non-profit organization from our area.  This is especially noteworthy given that a number of our members are also USFAA members or former Army Redlegs.  We also want to highlight the fact that Kerbo's gave us a significant price break on the beautiful framing they did.
